# Treasury

PikuDAO treasury is used to fund ongoing development and maintenance of the organization and its technologies. sPIKU holders who participate in governance can propose and vote on how to use the treasury's funds.

10% of all yields generated from USP backing goes to the PikuDAO Treasury.

PikuDAO can vote to use the Treasury funds for several cases

* To delegate Treasury's voting power to non-experts or economists who are expected to bring new ideas and proposals to the Piku ecosystem.
* To issue grants
* To create working groups for DAO tasks
* Technical improvement costs
* Audits or similar 3rd party activities
* Or to cover any potential expense of PikuDAO
